I bought them like a year ago and never got around to the install. Took a little longer than it should’ve but it wasn’t that hard.

I didn’t know it’d be almost the same size..

How’s the handling after the install? I did just the rear on my A4 and the results were dramatic.

I haven’t really gotten to go thrash it yet but, it definitely feels a little different. I might bump them to the most aggressive setting.

Thickness matters. (heh heh) The torsional moment of inertia is tied to the 4th power of the radius. Small change makes a big difference.

I stuffed a big bar under the nose of my Mustang and a corresponding big bar in the rear. Much flatter through corners.

I did the rear as well, I need to get out there and do some spirited driving to properly test the parts.

stiffness of the metal as well as the adjustability is definitely the advantage over stock as well. Being able to adjust both front and rear is ideal to dial in the balance you are looking for. But yeah the new one might be way stiffer which would make the largest difference. Where the old one would flex under load, having something actually solid will make a significant difference.

I have mine on the softer setting because even that is a huge improvement over stock. I was just trying to eliminate the understeer, which I accomplished. The harder setting made bumps on the highway too harsh and my fiance complained lol.

Rough roads are killer in the Mustang already, how much worse could it really get?

I haven’t gotten a chance to go play with it yet. After class today I’m going to make a run up the Hawk’s Nest and drive around High Point

Which manufacturer? ST, Steeda? Just wondering what people are using. I’m getting one later this summer and it’s a non-power pack car, so I assume I’ll want to do springs/shocks and possibly the sway bars at some point.

I went with Whiteline because I got a good price, I still have my stock Performance Pack stuff that I’m going to post up for sale.
